Our Warranty Promise
At PowerPeak Generators, we build generators that last. Every product we sell is backed by a comprehensive warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. Our warranty periods vary by product line:
- Consumer Inverter Generators: Up to 2 years warranty
- Open-Frame Generators: 1 year warranty
- Dual Fuel Generators: 1 year warranty
- Solar Power Stations: 2 years warranty
- Industrial Diesel Generators (50KW+): 1 year or 1000 hours (whichever comes first)
Extended Warranty: Want more coverage? Contact us about extended warranty options for select models. We offer up to 3-year extended coverage on premium industrial units.
What's Covered
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This includes:
- Engine failure due to manufacturing defects
- Electrical component failure (inverter boards, voltage regulators, control panels)
- Structural defects in the frame or housing
- Fuel system defects under normal operating conditions
- Battery defects within the first 90 days
What's Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (brushes, filters, spark plugs, belts)
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage from improper maintenance or use of non-recommended fuel/oil
- Accidental damage (dropping, impact, water submersion)
- Damage from natural disasters (fire, flood, lightning)
- Products that have been modified or disassembled by unauthorized personnel
- Consumable parts (oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.)
- Shipping costs for warranty service (customer covers shipping to us, we cover return shipping)
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us at rentianrui6@qq.com with your order number, serial number, and a description of the issue
- Include photos or videos of the problem if possible — this helps speed up the process
- Our technical team will review your claim within 2-3 business days
- If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the unit or arranging service
- We will repair or replace the defective unit at our discretion
Warranty Service Options
Depending on the issue and product type, we offer:
- Repair service — at our authorized service center
- Parts replacement — for minor issues, we may ship replacement parts with instructions
- Unit replacement — for major defects within the first 90 days
- On-site service — available for industrial units in select regions (additional fees may apply)
Warranty Transfer
Our warranty is transferable to secondary owners, provided the product was purchased from an authorized PowerPeak Generators dealer and the original purchase receipt is available. The warranty period starts from the original purchase date.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is your exclusive remedy and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. PowerPeak Generators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, or damage to property.
